Elementary particles are particles that do not have a measurable internal structure. That is, they are not composed of lower particle structures, they are not composed of lower ones, but rather form an independent entity from which the rest of the material elements composed of atoms, molecules and elements are composed. Of course, this definition does not include what is called strings in the theory.
